First met Frank at the National folk music festival some years ago.He made an immediate impression. He remains something of a hero to both myself and my wife Peta Webb. We were lucky to persuade Frank who was a most reluctant traveller to do our Musical Traditions club in London twice. He came back to the house and we saw in the dawn sharing songs an unforgettable experience. A great man.

Peta and I will be in Dublin for the weekend. I think the plan is to make it an annual event. At the time of his death Frank had just completed his latest project. Songs of the navvies should be coming out soon but sadly does not look as though will be available in time for the special weekend.
