I don't know what happened I've just typed a great long diatribe
but it disappeared.

Steve Belsey was an integral part of the Shanty Crew and wrote several songs that they sung. I remember being at Chatham Docks when the Shanty Crew were booked but the only one who could turn up was Steve and what a sterling performance. He gained great acclaim from other professional singers at the event for the same.

I would hope that as the Shanty Crew do not want air the dirty laundry etc and the heartache this has already caused that people

It seems to me that Members should examine their posts because the Guests seem to be the voice of rationale. ( sorry if this upsets Charley no offense meant, only an outsider's observations)
