I, too, would love to see the verse from Corinthians...
I've been collecting the myriad verses of this song for about a year now, in a leisurely fashion, and have a few that haven't been posted, and have also copied down the ones here I didn't have, thanks...

Most of the other verses I have are here, or close variants to them. Interestingly enough, I always knew the first line as, The water is wide, I can't cross o'er...
