My Old Grandad, raised on the border of Texas and Oklahoma, was quite a "rough n ready" man-as my Daddy said. Grandad drank Kentucky Bourgon, and had several very interesting decanters when I was a kid. The many regular empties were usually placed out the breezeway, where we grandkids went out & sniffed the bottles, giggling as though we were doing something naughty. My favorite decanter was one which was a golden oil derrick with the empty bottle inside, & the top was a gold cup-upside down. It had a music box built into the bottom which played "How Dry I Am."
