Sorcha, I think we all prefer animals to people as we get older. Every morning it was her paws digging the door in that would waken me. Most cats bring rats and mice home or sadly birds, she brought moths ! They are great to have in our lives, but it's rubbish when they go. Vet said get another cat, God no, I still have her mother who's ten here and after that no more pets. It is simply to hard to deal with when they go. Thanks
