Some of the better known ones in the 1st two lists were greatly influential, I think. For me, especially Dyer-Bennett. I learned about ballads. Hey! What about's all the Cambridge/Boston people. As said all had to get started but there were many fine local sengers about the time that girl with the long black hair was getting off the ground. Rolf Cahn & Rick von Schmidt for starters.
