I was told about a colour TV made up from LEDs by a friend who had seen it in Bradford back in 1973. The trouble was that it was difficult to balance the colours back then in the infancy of LEDs. The TV was only 2 inches thick though. I'm still trying to find out if the TV licencing authority is answerable to anyone, as I wish to complain about their literature.
