My friends and I play a lot of music together at our homes and at parties etc owing to wankers who turn up at some of the clubs with their `view' on what folk music is and `tut tut' when we sing our own stuff and discourage new and younger people and their acoustic music. Some of them believe that unless a song is tuneless, allegedly 100 years old or more, sung with a finger stuck in your ear and without an instument by someone with no voice ... it is not folk. If this IS folk then ....
