I have the tune and words in a book by Malvina Reynolds called "Little Boxes and Other Handmade Songs". The title of the song is "Battle of Maxton Field". The first words are: Now brave the Klansmen rallied there in Maxton town that night, All armed with knives and pistol guns and honin' for a fight I can post the words if you like and email you a JPEG of the music. Let me know. (PS the copyright on the song is 1958 but there were no notes about it) judy
