Moira, I can't help you with the last line, except that Al O'Donnell sings "...with a bunch of bloom". The notes to this song in Kennedy (Ed.), Folksongs from Britain and Ireland, say that this song is a "switched gender" variant to CHILD'S #95, Maid freed from the gallows, which is in the DT-database, at least in one variant.
