If us oldtimers didn't keep on singing, how would the little kids learn from their grandmas & grandpas?

Charley, I can't be coy about my age anymore, not since my old book (SINGING FAMILY OF THE CUMBERLANDS) was first printed- and is still in print at U.Press of KY- The first sentence is, "I was born in Viper, Kentucky...on the eighth day of December, 1922..."

I am enjoying my twilight years, singing and traveling when I feel like doing it, enjoying all the old and new music surrounding, and Lord! What a host of memories keep me company in the quiet hours!
