Last year I replaced the original tuners on my vintage Martin 0-28 with Waverly tuners and I have been very pleased. This guitar also has the slotted headstock. I ordered the Waverlies from Stewart-Macdonald which provides a very good guide to measuring and determining the exact replacements you would need. Later on, I put Waverlies on my Martin 0-15 (standard headstock). Good luck. -btmp
