Sorry to hear you're ill, but recuperating nicely by the sound of it. It must be a pretty good hospital to recognize a pulmonary embolism so quickly. You are very lucky. You've also gotten very good advice in this thread. I'm sure you can request to talk to the dieticians before you leave the hospital for guidelines as well as your pharmacist and doctors about interactions and foods. Write down any questions you might have as they arise or you may forget them. Realize you may bleed easier so avoid risky behavior, too. No vigorous teeth brushing, etc. Don't worry, though, you'll adjust. You are very lucky! Best wishes.
