Happy coincidence that this topic came up today--a day after I was up half the night. It happens infrequently and I have found that it usually comes when I have had many tomato products at dinner----soup, pasta, etc; A while back I say my ENT doctor and he prescribed Nexium---helped in 24 hours. Expensive medication!!! I have found though---at least for me, who gets this only at the times mentioned I keep Pepcid AC (Strong Strength) on hand---take it a few hours before dinner and it works like a charm. And a lot less expensive ---though not that cheap either. Bill Hahn
