Now see, that I was unaware of (The DNA from the mammoths etc) I'll say this once and only once because even though I'm a Christian it will likely offend some. If there is even a remote chance that some of the really religious fanatics think that science is aboput to make a statement that will upset the 2000+ year old apple cart, those fragments will disappear quicker than you can say "Bless me Father for I have sinned."
Mind you, I don't believe as I stated that they can definatively prove the bones belong to Jesus. I can see charlatans passing off bone fragments. Street hustlers in Haifa werer still trying to pass off hunnks of trees as parts of the "true" cross in 1978 whenI was there. Neil
