Just one nit to pick. "Examples of assault rifles include the AR-15 " The AR 15 is a single shot per trigger pull, just as the M1. It is an "autoloader" in the same way a revolver is an autoloader - still gives you one shot per trigger pull. It is not capable of automatic fire - that feature is limited to the military version, the M-16. Regards all Mark
