Some bright whiz in the recording industry came up with the term "Americana". Gotta put a label on the bin at Walmart. If you don't know who or what you are, two aisles over in the business supply section, they have labeling guns. Go help yourself. Buddy Emmons, the Worlds Greatest Pedal steel guitar player,is on countless Jazz, Country-western, Rock and "folk" albums. I'm of the opinion that he could care less what it's called. It's GOOD MUSIC. Cheers Dave
