Street cries still exist here in Bradford, there's the guy selling magazines shouting "Biggish shoe", the beggars "Ave yer got twennypee" the various young thugs and their "Oy yer F**** B****!" and then later on at night the screams and cries of passers by being mugged/beaten/stabbed/shot. Don't believe me? I work for the local newspaper and some of the stories would make yer hair curl!
