I got my version from Sandy and Caroline Paton. It lingered in the recesses of my brain until Laura Sandage and Katie heard a version at the Alaska Folk Festival this April.

Since we're the group, MudLark, we performed it last night where Joe Offer heard it and wrote to me asking for comment on this thread. So far we've come up with 4 different versions, all rhyming, all non-sense, all fun.
