You might try smowe of the same things used to keep cats off of counter tops - small, unpleasant items placed closely enough together that she can't get up without stepping on them; or bits of fly paper, or things that make a frighnening noise when knocked over. Now that she knows there is another side, it will be very hard. My cats no longer go out because vet bills are almost as bad as dead cats. Have you considered a screen door?
