Hi Mark and all, Gilbert and Sulivan in Yiddish is some of the most hilarious stuff I've ever heard. I don't know about your translations, Mark, but when I was a kid I heard a version of Little Buttercup sung in Yiddish. I laughed for days over - Zey ruft mir claner putter shissel, Claner, shaner puter shissel... Which translates roughly as - They call me little tub o' butter, Pretty, little tub o' butter. Yikes!
