Not that it's really important to this thread, but for the sake of accuracy on the Alma's history, I was off by one year: built in 1891, not 1890. Good point, EBarnacle, that If a historic vessel is currently sailing, you absolutely have to keep maintenance up. Micca took me to see the Cutty Sark in '01. What a sight to behold. You can really see why clippers were known as the sleek "greyhounds of the sea." Chanteyranger
