PoppaGator, there is a video of MJH playing without his hat! Unfortunately, it is a silent video! John Miller has an instructional DVD of MJH tunes which features a 9 minute (appr.) silent video of John filmed in his home in D.C. MJH is seen, but not heard, playing "Candy Man", "Stagger Lee", "Salty Dog" and more; most of them done without his hat! He finally sends his grandson to fetch his hat. Though it is silent, it is nonetheless a very wonderful video to watch, though I cannot imagine why anyone would film such a great musician without sound! It is like viewing the Mona Lisa in black and white!. k
