sheer spite, bad language and blinkered attitudes You may not like the medium, but the message is inescapable - the 'folk club' has had its day and now lingers on largely as a refuge for those who have problems finding friends elsewhere. If there are any blinkers here, they're being worn by those sad souls who keep saying. "Our club's fine, so that proves that there's nothing wrong with folk clubs." Long live the session and the festival.
