"attacking the character or circumstances" When one engages in the same practices he is supposedly against, it is not against his character or circumstances. It is against his actions that belie his "truths". It is self condemnation. If a judge takes a bribe is his verdict still correct? Richard Nixon: "I am not a crook" Yeah, Dick, just because you are a crook is nor reason to doubt your word. Bill Clinton: "I did not have sex with that woman" Bill, we believe you 100% regardless of what the woman said.
