Lunchtime news reported that the only 'major' injury was a sprained ankle. The same programme reported the tale that the cause of the crash was a roll of tarpaulin being used in maintainance falling across the track. It would appear that the tarpaulin which had been secured* in a side passage-way, had been shaken loose by a combination of vibration and the wind caused by the passage of earlier trains. The above is, as yet, unsubstantiated and a report released after the investigation. Walrus. * One would presume improperly.
