I once heard Nora Guthrie give a talk on how Huntington's disease affected her family. She, Arlo, and Joady are free of the disease, which means that their children are also free of it. Two of her half-sisters, Gwen and Susan, died from it. Woody also fathered three other children, but all died too young to know if they had Huntington's disease since there was no test at the time.
