Some years ago while traveling through Maine we bough a lobster trip to be used in decorating one our rooms in a nautical theme. At our home in Michigan I set the lobster outside our garage. Next morning, to my surprise, there was an unhappy cat caught in the lobster trap. If you've never tried it getting a cat out of a lobster trap isn't all that easy. I thought this was a very weird coincident ~ nor picture or anything.
        Next morning there was another (different) cat caught in the trap. After the third cat I scrubbed down the lobster trap and stored it inside the garage. Must have been the fishy smell that attracted the cat. The third cat put up one heck of a fight.   
        The incident got me to wondering about how many cats get caught in lobster traps out in Maine? There were stacks and stack of lobster traps around the seashore villages.
