Hi Colyn I'm also suffering with DeQuervain's... orth doctor told me three phases of therapy, first one being physical therapy, anti-inflammatory drugs, and a split; second phase is cortisone injection, and third is surgery. I've just about "had it" with phase one... PT has done nothing, and I afraid of taking the drugs too long (have been on them over a month). and gave them up. I refuse to get cortisone. I have a thumb splint, but I need another (a few washings, and its all shredded. Is there an OTC splint you can recommend (maybe a website link)? Thanks Phyllis
