I wouldn't make a case for either of those bridges, though it is wrong to call them bridges to nowhere. The Knik Arm bridge supposedly connects the Matanuska-Susitna valleys with Anchorage but probably more correctly opens up land for development, but would not make it any easier for a lot of us to get to Anchorage. Better would be an efficient mass transportation system. Yep, look at who owns the land. We like to feather our own nests.
