GUEST,Roberto Lyr Req: Bright Shiny Morning (9) RE: Lyr Req: Bright Shiny Morning 06 Aug 07

I think I've found the answer. At this site (http://www.newworldrecords.org/linernotes/80427.pdf) there is the text of ONE BRIGHT SUMMER MORNING sung by Beatrice Mopsey Johnson, St. Croix, 1980, wit this line: For if he would've told me the tricks he would've sold me,

Now, I think the stanza should be like this:

Oh send for the doctor to come straightaway to me
Oh send for the doctor although it's too late
For if he would have told me of the tricks he could've sold me
For I am a young girl cut down in my prime
