I am sorry to report that Preston Merrick passed away on 8/5/07 after a lengthy fight against cancer. Preston was a banjoist in the central Florida area and played for many bands including the Bluegrass Partners and County Line Bluegrass. Preston's son Trey is the current bass player for County Line.

Preston had many friends, and they will miss him very much. -btmp
