I am flabbergasted...that a google search did not turn up that wilf carter recorded the song...
i have both boxsets [8cd] and [4cd] other wilf carter cds... cassettes/lps... etc... but i never tho't to check by wilf carter...many thanks to all....my mind and google let me down...
the person requesting the song did not recall who sang it either only the fragments i posted earlier..
