I found the article (at last) by going in through the Home page (http://www.telegraph.co.uk) and typing "Cochrane" into the search box. The article address is http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2007/09/02/sv_lordcochrane0 let's hope this 'blicky' works. W
