In many British / American folk songs, a man straying is (from a male point of view) seen as something to celebrate. There are also lots of songs where the interloper gets caught and punished (especially if he's a tailor) There are lots of songs sung from the female view which suggest that men can't be trusted, that they'll cheat on you etc. Can anyone come up with any songs where the man feels really guilty for cheating on a woman? Interested in anything, not just trad stuff. Thanks John Evans There
