So what most are saying is, if you have a sing-song, an open mike, or session with your friends and fellow musicians in a pub, then the landlord must pay royalalties ?. I thought that it was paid if the pub had a juke box or other backround music. This seems strange , if you were to only play songs that were 'out of copyright' , gone traditional, 200 years old, would the payement still have to be made.
