I have a 45 Festival record of George McCurn singing this song backed by Herb Alpert. It shows (Brooks-Barer) (Davis) as the writers/composers, and it has wonderful voice variations going from low to high. Absolutely beautiful singing. On the other size of the record George sings 'In My Little Corner of the World', also backed by Herb Alpert. Date of the record? - I would say at a guess late 1950's/early 1960's
