May I also pass on my condolences. I knew Joe only slightly from the same route as Mike and later at the Parkers Arms Saturday sessions in Chorley. A real character and a fine, powerful and commanding singer. Scowie used to claim to be led astray by Joe - I'm not so sure about that, I think they egged each other on. Sad to hear of his passing.
