was just congratulating myself on another nugget of pure gold mined from the Mudcat, when I knocked my gin and tonic all over the keyboard... Hope it has dried out enough to send thanks to the contibutors to this thread. My everlovin' (who's a Kiwi) doesn't sing a lot, at least not solo, but when we were courtin' many years ago we went to a folkie dinner-party where everyone had to do a turn (as you do). She sang this song in a pure, sweet soprano and I fell in love with her all over again. It was featured at our wedding and we have loved it ever since. And now I have words, music and chords.
