So sad to hear that. I must have been about ten or so when she sang "Ricochet Romance".....I don't want a ricochet romance, I don't want a ricochet love. If you're careless with your kisses, find another turtle dove...." I sang it and sang it with her, on the radio, and I was certain that I sounded just like her. I decided then and there that I wanted to be a singer just like her. I told mom and dad I wanted to take singing lessons. They said there wasn't any future in that, and they signed me up for piano lessons.   I stuck with those lessons for about 3 years, hated practicing, and begged to quit.   I'm thankful today for those lessons which were my introduction to playing music. And thankful for Teresa, who was my introduction to singing.   Today I have quite a collection of instruments, and love playing them and singing.
