A bit of trivia, Barbara Mullen was not Scottish.
Barbara Mullen (Janet) was born in Boston USA and was the daughter of Pat Mullen who was in the classic documentary "Man of Aran" by director Robert Flaherty, and she married the film's camera man John Taylor.

If you can get a copy of Man of Aran it is well worth the effort, I think it was made in the mid 1930s.
