The last thing (almost literally) I did before moving permanently here to the USA 4 years ago was attend a wonderful Chris Barber concert at the Burnley Mechanics in Lancashire. He had a young(ish) trumpet player in addition to Pat Halcox and it was a joy to watch how much respect the young guy was giving Pat. The concert was tremendous! Jack
