Can't see the point of closing down a thread if it is serving to spread knowledge of this very important and amazing performer. They who today hear only a scratchy fiddle may by tomorrow recognise the work of true genius. If somebody doesn't like it, well they don't like it but that doesn't make it worthless (which isn't what Dennis/Buchan or whatever said). Jim Eldon once gave me a song and encouraged me to arrange it for myself. It's one of the very few I might still do in public to this day. He's like that. So generous with his music and passionate about it. Long may that continue.
