Interesting. The song that's staying with me the last two days is 'Letter From New York'. But that's the way it is with Spencer's music, individual songs rise in the mind when you most need them. I guess it's that they are so genuine, and human, that we can see our own reflection in them.

I believe what I've read about poetry - that it is only poetry when it reaches outside itself - and this is what makes Spencer's music so unique. I wonder what song will mirror my days as we get closer to the new year.
