GUEST,Rich Review: Chris Wood (64* d) Chris Wood 25 Jan 08

Been listening to Chris Wood's latest, Trespasser, he is just awesome. Both his solo albums have knocked me off my feet, the quality of both the self penned and the trad songs is just incredible. The imagery in 'Summerfield Avenue', the unbelievable 'England in Ribbons', and the interpretation of 'The Lady of York' is incredible. This, following on from the amazing 'The Lark Descending' album I think holds him up as one of our most important folk artists of recent years.

Is it just me or does anyone else have this opinion?
