Song Of The Earth...a folk show about life and work in the South Wales valleys is going to be performed at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe this friday [1st Feb ].The event starts at 8.30 in the Ivy Bush Hotel on Brecon Road and all are welcome to come along and enjoy the music and readings from writers such as Bert Coombs and Alexander Cordell.
The show is being presented by musicians and writers from the Pontneddfechan Music Club and the eleven strong ensemble is being directed by Eric Morgan from Glynneath. One of the musicians is the legendary banjo man Alan Chesterfield.A must see.
