A good time was had by all. Den Giddens turned up with Terry King (thanks, Terry!) and gave us some of his stories and songs. The Millens [performing as the Cider Sippers) were on great form. We had a step dance from Kerry Fletcher. But it was Nigel Hobbins who stole the show with his duetting with Den during 'Little Willy's Wild Woodbines.' Regrettably, no-one from Woodchurch turned up. If anyone knows who of them sings the rarer type of music hall song I saw them perform about three years ago at Charing, please tell me who they are so I can make contact. Thanks to everyone who took part. The Millens are hosting an evening at the Flying Horse at Smarden on 15th. March. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing everyone at the Kent Gathering of raditional Music at frittenden on Saturday 29th. March.
