Number 1 on my list would be The Blues Project, an Elektra LP from the sixties that was mentioned on the recent Ian Buchanan thread. In addition to IB's Winding Boy, the album contained multiple songs by the likes of John Koerner, Geoff Muldauer and Dave Ray. For some reason it's never been released on CD. Anyone else have a favorite from the past that has never made it to CD? And for those of you who know more than I about the record business - which is most of you I'll bet - what goes into the decision to re-release an old album in a new format? And is there any way we can influence that decision? Mike
