Fantastic man! I remember two lecture/recital tours he did in the late sixties(?) - one with Dave & Toni Arthur, and the following year with Tim Hart & Maddy Prior - a real inspiration and a man whose enthusiasm hooked you! And then there was his lecture at the National Festival in Roy Harris' days on 'Virtuosity in folk music' -his only British Isles example was Sheamus Ennis! Tom Brown
