folkWISE is an organisation run by performers for performers (from Wales Ireland Scotland and England - hence WISE).

Concerned about the continuing closure of so many clubs, and seeing still more decide not to book guests any more, we thought we'd do our bit to help by collating some good ideas from successful clubs around the land for the benefit of anyone who is struggling or thinking of starting a new venture.

I've culled a few from posts on mudcat, and thought perhaps there may be more gems lurking here.
